The Main Street Wine Grotto features fine imported and domestic wines, stemware and an assortment of fine cheeses.

The Grotto specializes in modestly priced wines, which are typically not available in State Liquor stores and are of exceptional value. These wines are made available to us through our personal connections with small producers and importers in Italy and France who have visited Abondante.

The Wine Grotto has tasting on Saturdays (weekly in the Summer and holidays and bi-weekly in the off season) featuring three or four wines accompanied by food to complement both.

Private Wine Tastings are also available for your group, function or family. The private tastings have been a great success for birthday parties, business meetings or informal “get togethers”. Our staff will host your event and help select the wines and foods, which will make your tasting an event to remember. (see below for additional info)

WINE TASTINGS

Wine of the Month Club

The Main Street Wine Grotto is pleased to introduce the wine of the month club. Members will receive:

• Two bottles of wine monthly chosen by the Main Street Wine Grotto.
• Ten percent discount on any purchase in the Wine Grotto.
• Ten Percent discount on any bottle of wine purchased with dinner at Abondante.
• Your invitation to a complimentary food and wine pairing twice yearly.
• Membership cost is $35 monthly paid in advance.

Private Wine Tasting

Private tastings available for your friends, family or business.

Each private tasting includes:

• Four selected wines to be tested.
• A selection of fine foods from Abondante Trattoria, matched to compliment each wine.
• Your group will have exclusive use of the Main Street Wine Grotto.
• The tasting will be hosted by our staff and/or wine consultant Rufus Boyett
• We will gladly work with your group on a selection of food and wine to make your experience informative and fun for all.

$40pp includes all wine, food, use of the Wine Grotto and the assistance of our staff.
